Accubath™ PVDF, PFA Welded Tanks
White Knight/Imtec’s process and rinse tanks are constructed from a single sheet of application specific plastic material that is CNC machined and then folded into the form of your tank using the “ORIGAMI” method. Welded corners can create particle/contamination traps and can leak due to workmanship, thermal cycling, and/ or prolonged chemical exposure. However, the “ORIGAMI” method minimizes welding and provides smooth, seamless, rounded interior corners.
Features & Benefits
-
Origami Construction – Minimizing weld seams inside plastic tanks.
-
Tank Materials – PVDF, PFA
-
In-House Design and Manufacturing – Hydraulic cylinders, QDR dump valves, spray manifolds, integral cooling coils, and cassette furniture are all available and designed to specifications.
-
Resistant to Many Chemistries – Hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric, potassium hydroxide, methanol, and many more.
Technology
-
45° Knife-Edge Weir – In overflow vessels, Imtec utilizes a 360° weir with a scalloped 45° knife-edge rim. The baths are designed to produce an optimum flow pattern so that particles are carried off from the substrate surface and directed over the weir edge. The 45° weir design creates flow plumes that pull particulates up and over the weir, even if flow rates are marginal.
-
“ORIGAMI” Method – Our PTFE baths are CAD designed and CNC machined to achieve complicated shapes that are then folded into baths. This method minimizes welding and seams that can trap particles.
